PTFE hoses are used in heavy-duty environments where high temperature, high pressure, chemical resistance and elastic qualities are required. The PTFE inner tube provides an ultra-smooth, non-stick surface with excellent chemical inertness.
Available in smooth bore and corrugated configurations with stainless steel braiding for pressure containment. Suitable for conveying aggressive chemicals, steam, oils, and food-grade media from -65°C to +260°C.

PTFE is inert to virtually all chemicals, acids, bases, and solvents. It can safely convey aggressive media including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, acetone, and caustic soda. Only molten alkali metals and fluorine at high temperatures can attack PTFE.
Yes, PTFE hoses are excellent for steam transfer. With a temperature rating up to +260°C, they comfortably handle saturated and superheated steam. The SS 304 braid provides pressure containment for steam lines.
